Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Dr. Ibis Brito has earned a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and is a licensed psychotherapist in the State of Florida. She provides treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and those in late adulthood. Dr. Brito offers an array of services which include individual, couples, family and group therapy, educational testing, and consultation services. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and has extensive experience dealing with women's issues.
Experience
Dr. Brito began her journey in 1990 where she has been involved in effective treatments and a variety of emotional issues. In the nearly two decades of professional service, she has worked with different populations which include the homeless population, survivors of abuse, persons with eating disorders, and late adulthood issues. Dr. Brito has worked in outpatient and inpatient facilities, hospitals, crisis centers, educational settings and has been involved in the supervision of mental health interns.
In recent years, Dr. Brito has concentrated on helping clients in her private practice. By doing so, she has been able to provide individualized treatment that focuses on the client’s life goals.
She is bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish. Sessions are by appointment only. To facilitate your desire to invest in your well-being, Dr. Brito has committed herself to be available during weekdays and weekends. This includes evening hours.
